Iron Infusions

Iron infusions are available with Dr Graeme Edwards and Dr Krish Dinesh. For those people who suffer from iron deficiency and have not had success with iron tablets, this is an effective treatment.

Before having an iron infusion you need a blood test assessment along with your consult with any of the GPs here. The doctors here can provide information prior to booking for your iron transfusion.

Iron Infusions

Iron infusions are very effective for the treatment of patients with iron deficiency, when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used. The aim of the therapy is to replenish body iron stores and to remedy anaemia, a cause of tiredness. Bringing back normal iron levels will give you the energy you need.

Before administration, your doctor will perform a blood test to calculate the dose of of the iron infusion you require. The iron infusion is a simple process and is done here at the clinic.
